Plants in The Succulent Choice R  range have been selected for their striking appearance and their ability to grow well with minimal attention, even in difficult situations.  They are generally very drought and frost hardy, requiring little more than lots of sun, free draining soil or potting mix, small amounts of fertilizer (recommended is a regular application of Seasol and PowerFeed) from time to time and occasional deep watering during prolonged dry conditions.

Sedum ‘Chocolate Ball’ has deep chocolate brown foliage throughout the year.  In late spring summer this foliage is covered with masses of delightful golden flowers.  It forms a low growing  mound to 15cm tall by 1m in diameter and makes an attractive border plant.  Plant in full sun around a herb garden or in a terraced rockery with Sedum ‘Gold Mound’ or Lavandula angustifolia 'Miss Muffet'.
