‘Flamingo’ is an upright shrub with has masses of pink flowers with a white throat in late summer and early autumn.  The foliage is a greyish green and the shrub grows to approximately 80 cm in height and 60cm in width.  Penstemon ‘Flamingo’ prefers a sunny aspect with moist but well drained soil.  It will tolerate moderate frosts and some shade. A medium prune and feed with Osmocote Outdoors Trees & Shrubs after flowering will keep the plant compact and healthy.

Penstemons are a great addition to any garden.  They can be used as a specimen plant, tub plant, en masse for an eye catching effect or even as a low hedge.  They look good interplanted with spring flowering perennials like Lavandula ‘Merle’, Campanula ‘Cherry Bells’, or with other Penstemons like ‘Osprey’, ‘Thorn’, and Firestem

Penstemon ‘Flamingo’ is one of a range of Penstemons collected from around the world by Larkman Nurseries.  Collect a range to add color and variety to your garden.
