A moderately hardy shrub that will tolerate mild frosts and extended dry periods.  It prefers well drained soil and good air movement.  The cream flowers are excellent for drying.  It responds to a light prune three or four times a year.  Regular applications of Seasol and Powerfeed will maintain its health and vigour.  ‘Limelight’ makes an excellent hedge or centrepiece for a knot garden, or it can be grown in tubs and patio pots.

The felty leaves have a stunning, almost luminescent chartreuse color which give the plant central place in any perennial garden.  Growing to around 1.3m tall it will also make a back drop to a lavender, penstemon or woodland garden.  It grows equally well in part shade or full sun and the soft cream flowers are excellent for drying and floral arrangements.
